Equipment

Our department currently has eight pieces of apparatus that we utilize to help us perform our duties. These range from ambulances, pumper-tanker trucks, a tank truck, heavy duty rescue truck and an all- terrain vehicle. Below is a list of our active apparatus.

Arcade # 1 is a 2010 Ford ambulance, diesel engine, that is manned by one trained driver and two trained EMT’s. The ambulance is called upon for first-aid calls, rescue calls, stand-by for events and transports.


Arcade # 2 is a 2018 Ford ambulance, that is manned by one trained driver and two trained EMT’s. The ambulance is called upon for first-aid calls, rescue calls, stand-by for events and transports.


Arcade #3 is an 2000 International pumper tanker truck. The truck has a 1,250-gallon water tank and is able to pump up to 1,000 gallons a minute. This truck contains the “jaws of life” extrication tools to aid in automobile crashes. The truck is manned by a trained driver and additional trained firefighters.


Arcade #5 is a 2017 pumper tanker truck. The truck has a 1,000-gallon water tank and is able to pump 1,250-gallons of water a minute. The truck is manned by one trained driver and up to four trained firefighters. The truck also carries Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus systems for interior fire fighting


Arcade #6 is a 2019 International tank truck. This truck can haul 1,800 gallons of water to fire scenes where there are no municipal water systems. Water can be dumped off of the rear of the truck or pumped off of the driver’s side of the truck.


Arcade #7 is a 2008 International Heavy-Duty Rescue truck. The truck contains equipment for performing a variety of rescue functions. The truck also has “Mobile Cascade System” which is used to refill firefighter air tanks at fire scenes. The truck is also used as a Mobile Command Center at large incidents.


Arcade 8 is a Polaris Sportsman 700 All-Terrain-Vehicle. The ATV is four-wheel drive and during the winter months, the wheels are replaced with tracks. The ATV hauls a rescue boggan to aid in transporting patients from remote areas along with transporting equipment.



Arcade #10 is a pumper-tanker.  This truck is the second out engine for structure fires as well as primary mutual aid engine.  A 1,250-gallon tank with 1,250 gpm pump, this apparatus can be used as an engine or tanker depending on the need.
